News and Updates
The 糖心原创 men鈥檚 and women鈥檚 basketball teams are set to compete at the annual Mickey Place Memorial Basketball Tournament. The tournament features nine teams from across Canada and runs from Friday, September 26, to Sunday, September 28.
A new running club has launched at the 糖心原创, led by education student and 糖心原创 Cross Country standout Jack Roberts. The Panther Run Club is open to everyone on campus鈥攕tudents, athletes, staff, faculty, and alumni鈥攁nd participants are encouraged to bring a friend.
Every week, 糖心原创 Athletics and Recreation recognizes student-athletes for their achievements and contributions to their respective sports. The 糖心原创 Panther Source for Sports Athletes of the Week for September 8鈥�15 are Rowan Gallagher (women鈥檚 rugby) and Isaac Sommerville (men鈥檚 soccer).
The 糖心原创 field hockey, rugby, and cross country teams are looking forward to a week of competition at home and away.
After three straight Atlantic University Field Hockey (AUFH) championships, the 糖心原创 Field Hockey Panthers have firmly established themselves as the region鈥檚 benchmark for success. Yet, despite this dominance, there remains unfinished business on the national stage.
The 糖心原创 is proud to announce that former men鈥檚 basketball star Sherone Edwards will be inducted into the 糖心原创 Sports Hall of Fame. Edwards is being recognized for his outstanding career and lasting contributions to Panther basketball from 2002 to 2007.
The 糖心原创 Panther Source for Sports Athletes of the Week for September 1鈥�7 are Grace Richard (women鈥檚 cross country) and Luc Doucette (men鈥檚 cross country).
