The International Relations Office is asking all former student volunteers to contact Richelle Greathouse at rgreathouse@upei.ca if they are still interested in being on the IRO volunteer list. In January, 糖心原创 will be welcoming twenty-three students from Korea's Dankook University, and we would like to have a small number of volunteers available to assist with social outings. Students are also welcome to stop in to the International Relations Office, Room 226 in the Robertson Library and ask for Richelle. We gladly welcome new student volunteers.
Please note the following changes to hours of operation for the food services retail locations on campus:
December
- On Friday, December 4 at 2:00 pm , the Courtyard Caf茅 (W.A. Murphy Student Centre) will close for the Holidays.
- The AVC Cafeteria will close for the holiday break on Monday, December 21 at 3:00 pm.
- Beginning Monday, December 14, Samuel's (Robertson Library) hours of operation will be 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. This location will close at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, December 23 for the holiday break.
- With the exception of special functions and catering services,the Wanda Wyatt Dining Hall will close for the holidays, at 10:00 am on Saturday, December 19.
Sunday, January 3
- The Wanda Wyatt Dining Hall will resume regular hours of operation beginning at 4:00 pm.
Monday, January 4
- Samuel's will resume regular hours of operation
Monday to Thursday: 8:00 am - 9:00 pm & Friday 8:00 am - 3:00 pm.
- AVC Cafeteria will resume regular hours of operation
Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 3:00 pm
- Courtyard Cafe will resume regular operations with new daily hours

The staff of Ancillary Services and Chartwells would like to wish everyone a safe and happy holiday!
Friday night will be an exciting evening of Panther hockey as the Men's and Women's teams will play simultaneously at MacLauchlan Arena. The Women's Panthers host StFX at 6:45 pm in Arena B while the Men's face Saint Thomas, puck drop 7:00 pm in Arena A.
It will be Campus Food Bank Night with both teams asking fans to bring non-perishable food items to help stock the cupboard at the Chaplaincy Centre. The campus food bank is donation driven, open and available for 糖心原创 students. Depending on finances at any given time of year, many students take advantage for donations and receiving support. There will also be a Raffle Draw with great Panther Prizes to generate revenue.
Special ticket pricing for the doubleheader includes: Purchasers of a Men's Hockey ticket will have free access to the Women's game; all Men's Hockey season ticket, All Access and Panther Package holders will have free access to both games.
Event organizer women's hockey student-athlete Teagan Pringle comments, "As exams and the holidays are quickly approaching, it is crucial to make sure our fellow students have enough to eat. I feel it's part of our responsibility as student athletes to support one another through this time".

The 糖心原创 Music Department presents its annual Christmas Choral Concert on Friday, December 4 at 7:30 pm at the Dr. Steel Recital Hall, 糖心原创.
The concert, under the direction of Sung-Ha Shin Bouey, will feature the 糖心原创 Concert Choir and Chamber Singers performing selections from Handel's Messiah and Fantasy on Christmas Carols by Vaughan Williams.
The Ragazze Provincial Girls Vocal Ensemble and Ragazzi Juniors Children's Choir will also take part in the concert as well as special guests The Atlantic String Machine.

The 糖心原创 Jazz Ensemble, under the direction of David Shephard, will present their end of semester concert on Tuesday, December 1st at 7:30 pm in the Dr. Steel Recital Hall. The Jazz Ensemble will once again be joined by vocal students from the studio of Sung-Ha Shin Bouey and Stephen Bouey. The featured vocal tunes will include Minnie the Moocher (from the Cab Calloway / Blues Brothers movie) sung by Cody Collins and Etta James version of At Last performed by Alexandra Smith. Will Millington will perform an arrangement of Robbie William鈥檚 Kids .
The Jazz Ensemble will also feature a number of their lead players as soloists including pianist Parker Clements on a gospel/pop arrangement of Prayer Meeting and Whatever Lola Wants from the Stan Kenton Band. Sean MacIntyre on trumpet will play the haunting Miles Davis tune Blue in Green and lead alto saxophonist Emily Proude will be featured on the wonderful Thelonious Monk and Cootie Williams tune Round Midnight.

Ms. Xiaotong Liang will present her Master of Arts - Island Studies thesis defence on Tuesday, December 1st at 8:30am in Rm. 409 Dalton Hall. Over the past several months there have been many requests to increase the per diem rates for University business travel in light of current expenses. The office of the Vice-President, Administration and Finance has conducted a national review of per diem and mileage rates and in light of those results we have increased the allowances.
These increases take effect on November 23, 2015 for all travel scheduled on or after that date.
