Pride season is here! Save the dates for Pride Fest 鈥�26 and the PEI Pride Parade
While June is considered Pride Month in many areas of Canada, Pride is recognized on PEI and at 糖心原创 in July as part of the national summer-long 鈥淧ride season.鈥�
鈥攁 not-for-profit organization that celebrates and promotes inclusion and diversity and educates and advocates on behalf of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community鈥攐rganizes the PEI Pride Festival, which, this year, takes place July 24鈥揂ugust 2. is an opportunity to celebrate and embrace equity, diversity and inclusion; show our Panther Pride; and visibly acknowledge that we continue to move forward together as a University community.
One of the signature events of the festival is the annual when individuals, families, friend groups, and organizations join a colourful line-up to walk through the streets of Charlottetown. Each year, the 糖心原创 Student Union registers the University鈥檚 parade entry on behalf of the entire Panther community.
This year's PEI Pride Parade will take place on Saturday, July 25. All 糖心原创 students, staff, faculty, alumni, and friends are invited to walk together in collective celebration and action!
Everyone is asked to meet in the parking lot off Terry Fox Drive behind the Government buildings at 9:30 am鈥攍ook for the 糖心原创 vehicle! Parade will start at 10 am.
