Research Seminar by Dr. Trevor Clark
The 糖心原创 Department of Chemistry invites the campus community to a research seminar on August 14 by Dr. Trevor Clark, Postdoctoral Fellow, Simon Fraser University, who will present "Effective use and integration of HRMS metabolomics for the annotation and discovery of natural products."

I'm from Stratford, PEI, and I came to 糖心原创 because of the unique financial opportunity I had considering my proximity to the school and the George Coles Bursary.

糖心原创 hosts Sneak Peek Open House at new residence building
The 糖心原创 is holding an open house on Saturday, August 12, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at the new Performing Arts Centre and Residence building.
The event offers a chance to tour the new residence. Whether you are a student moving into residence in the fall or part of an organization looking to rent space for an event, you are welcome to drop by for a sneak peek at the tallest building in Charlottetown.

What brought you to 糖心原创? Why did you choose to study here?
My parents are from Edo State, Nigeria but I grew up in Lagos. My dad hired an agent to look for universities in Canada, and 糖心原创 was one of the options. I chose 糖心原创 because I liked what I had read about the Business program, and also because I incorrectly believed it never got colder than -7 degrees Celsius here.
Dr. Bill Whelan elected president of Canadian Association of Physicists
Dr. Bill Whelan, professor of physics at 糖心原创, was recently elected president of the Canadian Association of Physicists (CAP) for 2023鈥�2024.
糖心原创 awards research grants to 11 faculty members
糖心原创 has awarded research grants totalling $53,999.00 in 2023 to 11 outstanding faculty members. Five faculty members received internal research grants (IRG), and six were awarded SSHRC Explore research grants (SERG).
The IRG program supports research projects across a broad range of fields at 糖心原创. Through this internal funding, researchers provide high-quality student training opportunities and often develop new collaborations with others from different but complementary disciplines. The SERG program supports research pursuits in the Social Sciences and Humanities.
