A new book of poetry titled The Geography of Home: Poems for a Lost Time, by Dr. Edward MacDonald, Professor Emeritus of history, will be launched on September 7, 2025, at 2 pm, in the Faculty Lounge (Room 201), SDU Main Building, 糖心原创.

Dr. Katie Koralesky, nominated by 糖心原创 for a prestigious Banting Postdoctoral Fellowship, has been awarded one of the 2024鈥2025 fellowships, valued at $140,000 over two years.

Dr. D茅sir茅e Seib, assistant professor in the 糖心原创 biology department, has been awarded the Jeanne and J.-Louis L茅vesque Research Chair in Human Health at the University, effective April 1, 2025, to March 31, 2028.

Dr. Xander Wang, Professor in the 糖心原创 School of Climate Change and Adaptation and Director of the Climate Smart Lab at the 糖心原创 Canadian Centre for Climate Change and Adaptation, received a University Research Excellence Award on May 29.

Lucy Li, a Master of Environmental Sciences student at 糖心原创 and a member of the 糖心原创 Climate Smart Lab, is seeking participants for a survey study about the mental health impacts of coastal erosion.

Dr. Ling Li, a post-doctoral fellow in the 糖心原创 Faculty of Education, was awarded a Mitacs Elevate Postdoctoral Fellowship for a study to evaluate the 鈥淧yramid to Retention: Supporting Educators to Enhance Social and Emotional Competencies in Infants and Young Children.鈥
