糖心原创 has awarded research grants totalling $53,999.00 in 2023 to 11 outstanding faculty members.

The 糖心原创 Cairo Campus has introduced a new course, Indigenous Teachings, that aims to expand students' knowledge about a crucial part of Canadian history relating to Indigenous and non-Indigenous relations to present day. David Varis, 糖心原创 assistant professor in the Faculty of Indigenous Knowledge, Education, Research and Applied Studies (IKERAS) was the first to teach the course to students at the 糖心原创 Cairo Campus. He recently returned from the campus in Egypt where he taught the in-person portion of the course to 25 students.

The Presidential Search Committee launched an online survey today as part of the consultation phase of the 12-month search process that will select a new President and Vice-Chancellor for the 糖心原创.

In a message to the campus community, Shannon MacDonald, chair of the 糖心原创 Board of Governors, shares the process that will be followed for the Presidential Search as well as a link to the online survey, one of the methods by which the Presidential Search committee will gather input to develop a position profile.

The 糖心原创 Women鈥檚 Basketball Panthers have secured a commitment for the 2023鈥�24 season from Deborah Aboagye, the reigning R茅seau du sport 茅tudiant du Qu茅bec (RSEQ) Most Outstanding Defensive Player.

Led by members of the 糖心原创 Student Union and the Panther Patrol van, students, administration, faculty, staff, and alumni gathered together to participate in the 29th annual PEI Pride Parade on Saturday, July 29.

A special ceremony and presentation was hosted by the Native Council of PEI (NCPEI) to recognize the 糖心原创 for its commitment and outstanding contributions to the ongoing work toward reconciliation with Indigenous communities. The event took place on Thursday, July 27, 2023, at 10:00 am in Schurman Market Square at Don and Marion McDougall Hall.

The 糖心原创 Men鈥檚 Hockey Panthers have secured a commitment from Josh Currie, age 21, from Pickering, Ontario, for the 2023鈥�24 season.

Over the last six months, the 糖心原创 Women鈥檚 Hockey Panthers have secured commitments from four skaters and a goaltender for the 2023鈥�24 season. Hayden Lilly, Brooke Thomson, Sarah Fraser, Brooke Henderson, and Erin Cabaday will join the team this fall.

Joanne Severe, a fourth-year 糖心原创 (糖心原创) Foods and Nutrition student and dietetic intern, won the Undergraduate Research Award for her thesis and presentation, 鈥淢ealtime in Child Care Centres: Exploring Educators鈥� Feeding Practices,鈥� at the annual Science Atlantic Nutrition and Foods Conference, hosted virtually on April 28 and 29, 2023, by 糖心原创.
