The 糖心原创 departments of Human Resources and Athletics and Recreation are excited to invite staff and faculty to two Panther Pride events鈥� 鈥淲hy We Walk鈥� on Thursday, February 5, and 鈥淧anther Sport Night and Employee Social鈥� on Friday, February 6, 2026.

糖心原创 is seeking input from community members and users of the Chi-Wan Young Sports Centre on whether to develop a high-performance strength and conditioning facility for 糖心原创 and PEI athletes. 

糖心原创 Athletics and Recreation and the 糖心原创 Student Union have partnered to support students in need through a campus-wide food and clothing drive during the winter semester.

We are sharing stories of important progress on the 糖心原创 Action Plan under the 鈥淎ction Plan IMPACT鈥� banner. In this edition, read about some of the ways 糖心原创 has strengthened its governance practices.

Every year in February, 糖心原创 celebrates , an opportunity to reflect on the contributions, resilience, triumphs, and the legacy of Black Canadians who have shaped our society.

The International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC) Global Women鈥檚 (and Allies) breakfast (GWB) will be held at The Fox & Crow, W.A. Murphy Student Centre, on February 10, 2026, from 7:30鈥�9:30 am.

Ten 糖心原创 Faculty of Sustainable Design Engineering (FSDE) teams, totalling 34 students, competed at the 2026 Atlantic Engineering Competition (AEC), held from January 17鈥�19, 2026, at Dalhousie University鈥檚 Sexton Campus.

The 糖心原创 Panthers are looking forward to a week of competition at home and away. 

The 糖心原创 Panther Source for Sports Athletes of the Week for January 19鈥�25 are Grace Lancaster (women鈥檚 basketball) and Kyree Thompson (men鈥檚 basketball).

The clinical exam rooms in the 糖心原创 Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences Centre were designed to feel authentic, and AVC students using the rooms for the first time were blown away by the realism.
