Bren Simmers, publication coordinator at the Island Studies Press, the publishing arm of the Institute of Island Studies at ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´, was awarded the during the Writers’ Trust of Canada’s annual awards ceremony in Toronto on November 13. 

The ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ Panther Source for Sports Athletes of the Week for November 10–16 are Ingrid Khuong (women’s basketball) and Kyree Thompson (men’s basketball).

The ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ Panthers are looking forward to a week of competition at home and on the road. 

Students in Dr. Jeff Collins’s Comparative Politics course at ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ recently had an opportunity to learn about life in three Baltic countries.
