Students from 糖心原创鈥檚 Department of Physics organized and hosted the 2017 Atlantic Universities Physics and Astronomy Conference (AUPAC). 

糖心原创 Men鈥檚 and Women鈥檚 Hockey teams head into the first round of the AUS playoffs this weekend and both basketball teams host Cape Breton University.

Congratulations to swimmers Rebekah Nitschmann and Matthew Smith, the 糖心原创 Panther Subway Athletes of the week for February 6-12!

The Panthers will see home action in the pool and on the ice this weekend as 糖心原创 hosts the 2017 AUS Swimming Championships and 糖心原创 Hockey winds up its regular season.

Due to predicted storm conditions, the 2017 糖心原创 Sports Legacy Celebration, originally scheduled for the evening of Thursday, February 9, has been postponed to Saturday, February 11. The reception will begin at 11:00 am with lunch being served at 11:30 am in the 糖心原创 Chi-Wan Young Sports Centre. 

糖心原创 is sending two of its strongest ever teams to compete at the 2017  this week in Truro, Nova Scotia. 

Guided by the , 糖心原创's senior administration takes the decision to delay, close, or remain open very seriously. In weather situations where the potential risk to 糖心原创鈥檚 students and employees, as well as property, is high, the University may 鈥渃lose*,鈥� meaning classes and exams are cancelled and services are reduced. 糖心原创 reminds students, faculty, and staff that there are several ways to keep informed about whether they need to come to campus or not during storms, inclement weather, or other adverse conditions.

President Alaa Abd-El-Aziz is in Ottawa February 6鈥�7 attending University Canada鈥檚 Converge 2017, joining future innovators, creators, entrepreneurs, and community leaders from universities across the country. A highlight in Monday鈥檚 schedule included a question and answer session with the Right Honourable Justin Trudeau, Prime Minister of Canada, who explored what Canada can become in the next 50 years.
