Dr. Andrew Zinck, a professor in the 糖心原创 Department of Music, was presented with the Association of Atlantic Universities鈥� (AAU) 2025 Distinguished Teaching Award at the AAU鈥檚 fall meeting held in Halifax, Nova Scotia, on September 23.

A six-lecture audio series titled  by Dr. Kate Scarth, Chair of L.M. Montgomery Studies, and Applied Communication, Leadership, and Culture, is now available through The Great Courses on Audible.

糖心原创 will mark the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation (September 30) with some focused events and observances on campus, including the TRC Mawi'omi on October 3.

The Robertson Library at 糖心原创 is set to host their first-ever Kitchen Party on Saturday, September 27鈥攁 fundraising event in support of the 鈥淟ove Our Library鈥� campaign as well as a celebration of the Library鈥檚 50th anniversary.

The 糖心原创 Panther Source for Sports Athletes of the Week for September 16鈥�22 are Kayla Batchilder (women鈥檚 field hockey) and Luc Doucette (men鈥檚 cross country).

The 糖心原创 men鈥檚 and women鈥檚 basketball teams are set to compete at the annual Mickey Place Memorial Basketball Tournament. The tournament features nine teams from across Canada and runs from Friday, September 26, to Sunday, September 28.

Mark your calendars for the 35th annual Open House at the Atlantic Veterinary College on Saturday, September 27, from 10 am to 2 pm and explore the captivating world of veterinary medicine. 

Dr. Joseph Gordon, Biomedical Sciences with AVC and the Memorial Regional Medical Program at 糖心原创, has received national recognition for his innovative use of research and groundbreaking work investigating muscle remodeling in obesity and type 2 diabetes.
