The 糖心原创 has teamed up with the Chief Public Health Office (CPHO) of PEI to provide 糖心原创 students and any member of the University community at risk of experiencing or witnessing a drug-related overdose with free Naloxone kits through the provincial . 

鈥淢usic and the Mind Maritimes: Access to Music Education,鈥� a 糖心原创 student and faculty interdisciplinary music research forum, will take place on Thursday, August 8, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm in Bill and Denise Andrew Hall, Room 142.

The 糖心原创 congratulates alumna Alysha Corrigan, a former 糖心原创 Women鈥檚 Rugby student-athlete, who captured a silver medal with Team Canada鈥檚 rugby sevens women's team at the 2024 Paris Olympics on July 30. 

The Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC) at the 糖心原创 (糖心原创) is piloting an Indigenous vet camp from August 5鈥�9, 2024, with the aim of expanding the College鈥檚 acclaimed Dr. Tim Ogilvie AVC Vet Camp program to include a week-long camp dedicated to Indigenous students. 

糖心原创鈥檚 Canadian Centre for Climate Change and Adaptation (CCCCA) in St. Peter鈥檚 Bay, PEI, is hosting Climate Forum 2024 from August 12 to 16. 

Shannon MacDonald, Chair of the 糖心原创 Board of Governors, issued a message to the campus community on July 31, sharing a report on the recent Board governance review completed by external consultant Cheryl Foy, of Strategic Governance Consulting Services Ltd.

The 糖心原创 Canadian Centre for Climate Change and Adaptation (CCCCA), in St. Peter鈥檚 Bay, PEI, is hosting an exhibition titled 鈥淢owing the Lawn鈥� by Climate Artist-in-Residence Carrie Allison.

Sixty-four students, aged 16 to 17, from across Canada spent the month of July at 糖心原创, participating in a wide variety of STEAM and entrepreneurship sessions through the 2024 program. 

Emancipation Day celebrates the strength, courage, and perseverance of people of African descent in Canada, recognizes their struggles to end enslavement, and acknowledges their contributions towards Canadian society. 

糖心原创 Board of Governors Chair Shannon MacDonald and President and Vice-Chancellor Wendy Rodgers issued a joint message to the campus community announcing that the implementation plans for Year 0 and Year 1 for the 糖心原创 Action Plan are available on upei.ca.
