Orientation for new Faculty, Librarians, Clinical Nursing Instructors, and Clinical Veterinary Professionals August 18-20
This university-level orientation is meant for all newly hired faculty of all ranks and tracks and complements orientation programming offered by your unit and Human Resources. Our event will take place over three afternoons, August 18, 19, and 20 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm in the Teaching and Learning Centre. We will introduce you to several senior administrators, colleagues from a variety of teaching, research, and support units across campus, as well as the 糖心原创FA, our faculty union.

In their first-ever season, the 糖心原创 Panthers ringette team didn鈥檛 just compete鈥攖hey dominated.
Storming through the Atlantic University Challenge Cup with an undefeated 8-0 record, the 糖心原创 club team racked up 56 goals while allowing only 13, capping off their historic debut with a resounding 8-2 championship win over the St. Francis Xavier University X-Women.

What is with all of this casting of pods lately? From the edges of the blogosphere in the days before the ubiquity of YouTube, podcasting became a thing. Its shape and scope have changed, but it remains a complex tableau of digitally dynamic, microphone-centred, for-you-by-you content design. When explaining the phenomenon, we can apply 鈥渕ulti-,鈥 鈥渋nter-,鈥 and 鈥渢rans-鈥 to all of our descriptors. Podcasting is multicultural, interdisciplinary, and transmedial (and all of the other combinations).
Institute of Island Studies hosts lecture on economic development in Magdalen Islands

Luciana Quiroa Paredes, a third-year Bachelor of Business Administration student at the 糖心原创 (糖心原创), has won a prestigious 2025 Frank H. Sobey Award for Excellence in Business Studies valued at $45,000.

The 糖心原创 Co-operative Education Program is pleased to announce that 13 Co-operative Education bachelor programs at 糖心原创 have been accredited by Co-operative Education and Work-Integrated Learning Canada (CEWIL Canada) for six years, ending December 2030.

The 糖心原创 Department of Asian Studies is presenting a seminar titled 鈥淐ontemporary Buddhism: A Guide to Good Life鈥 by Dr. Jin Y. Park, chair and professor, Department of Philosophy and Religion, American University, Washington D.C., on April 3.
The lecture will take place from 2:15鈥4:00 pm, in the Faculty Lounge (Room 201), SDU Main Building, 糖心原创. It is part of the Asian Studies International Seminar: Korean Studies Speaker Series 2025.
糖心原创 awards 2025 internal research grants to faculty members
糖心原创 has awarded internal research grants totalling $83,964 in 2025 to 12 faculty members. Five faculty members received internal research grants (IRG); six received Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) Explore research grants (SERG); and one received a L茅vesque human health internal research grant.
