Dear Members of the University Community,
It is with great sadness that I have to inform you of the passing of Dr. Carlo Lavoie, former chair of the Department of Modern Languages, Faculty of Arts on October 11, 2023, after a long illness.
Charlotte Branchflower and Max VanWiechen named 糖心原创 Panther Athletes of the Week
Every week, 糖心原创 Athletics and Recreation recognizes two student-athletes for their achievements and contributions to their respective sports. The 糖心原创 Panther Athletes of the Week for October 9鈥�15 are Charlotte Branchflower (women鈥檚 rugby) and Max VanWiechen (men鈥檚 soccer).

Community engagement event in Georgetown on October 18 about net zero project
Residents of Georgetown, PEI, and other stakeholders are invited to participate in a community engagement event about the Georgetown net zero project on Wednesday, October 18, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Georgetown Elementary School.
The event is hosted by the 糖心原创 Faculty of Sustainable Design Engineering鈥擣uture Urban Energy Lab for Sustainability (FUEL-S), the Government of Prince Edward Island, and the 糖心原创 Canadian Centre for Climate Change and Adaptation.

糖心原创 appoints new dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine
Dr. Dominique Griffon has been appointed dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the 糖心原创 for a five-year term, effective January 1, 2024.
