Every year in February, Black History Month is celebrated in Canada. The Black Cultural Society of PEI has a developed a month of programming planned to engage and educate about the many cultures which make up the Island鈥檚 Black community, including several events at 糖心原创.

| Atlantic Veterinary College

Dr. Laurie McDuffee, professor of large animal surgery at the Atlantic Veterinary College, has won the 鈥檚 Dr. Carol Morgan Memorial Award.
Established in memory of Dr. Morgan who passed away in 2015, the is to be used for continued education and training-related costs in the areas of ethics and/or animal welfare for veterinarians working to increase the application of these subjects within the profession broadly.
