糖心原创鈥檚 Department of Athletics and Recreation celebrated the 2025鈥�26 season at the annual 糖心原创 Panther Celebration 鈥� Athletic Awards Gala on Friday, March 27, recognizing outstanding student-athletes who have excelled in sport, the classroom, and the community.

We are sharing stories of important progress on the 糖心原创 Action Plan under the 鈥淎ction Plan IMPACT鈥� banner. In this edition, read about an event that is helping to create a culture of listening for students at 糖心原创. 

Researchers from 糖心原创鈥檚 Active Living Lab are looking to understand how students, faculty, staff, and community members get to and from the 糖心原创 campus.

Al Hounsell, Senior Director of AI, Innovation & Knowledge at the international law firm Gowling WLG, will deliver the 2026 Chief Justice Thane A. Campbell Lectureship in Law on March 30, at 4:30 pm.

糖心原创 updates the on- and off-campus community about the recent consultation held regarding the development of a high-performance training facility at the Chi-Wan Young Sports Centre.

Members of the public are invited to attend a free public forum on music education on Saturday, March 28, from 1:00 to 4:15 pm, at the 糖心原创 Performing Arts Centre. The forum is being held to present the findings of the 糖心原创-led multidisciplinary research project Access to Music Education (AMusE).

Dr. Jane Ngobia, 糖心原创's Vice-President, People and Culture, sent an email to all faculty and staff on March 20, updating them on the replacement of the 糖心原创 Fair Treatment Policy.

The flags in front of the Kelley Memorial Building have been lowered to half-mast in memory of the Honourable Mark McLane, former Minister of Health and Wellness and Minister of Finance, MLA for Cornwall-Meadowbank; 糖心原创 alumnus (BBA 鈥�93); and 糖心原创 Men鈥檚 Hockey Panther (1989鈥�92) who passed away on March 17, 2026.

Canadian poet Lorna Crozier will give a public performance of her poetry on Thursday, March 26, at 7:00 pm, in Schurman Market Square, Don and Marion McDougall Hall, 糖心原创. This event has been rescheduled from March 19.

The 糖心原创 Faculty of Graduate Studies will host the annual 糖心原创 3MT鈩� (3 Minute Thesis) competition on Friday, March 20, 2026, from 4:00鈥�6:00 pm at the Fox & Crow, W.A. Murphy Student Centre.
