Music of Tomorrow: A Directed Studies Recital

Music of Tomorrow is a lecture recital presented by Jacob Reddin, trombone, in collaboration with Frances McBurnie, piano, to showcase their directed studies research project at ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´'s Faculty of Arts' Department of Music. Come and hear the stories, experiences, and music of young composers who are actively pursuing and maintaining careers in the world of contemporary classical composition.

ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ Bachelor of Science in Nursing students Amelia Jenkins, Abby Kinch, Teasha McPhee, and Niloufar Sedighpoor recently completed a survey of students living in residence as part of their fall semester 2024 Population Health course. They discovered a high percentage of surveyed students are not sleeping well for a variety of reasons, and they're using the survey findings to create sleep-related wellness resources for all ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ students.

Grace Lancaster and Sidiki Diakite named ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ Panther Athletes of the Week

Every week, ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ Athletics and Recreation recognizes student-athletes for their achievements and contributions to their respective sports. The ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ Panther Athletes of the Week for November 18–24, 2024, are Grace Lancaster (women’s basketball) and Sidiki Diakite (men’s track and field).

Global Village celebration takes place at ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ on November 30

The ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ campus community is invited to attend the annual Global Village celebration on Saturday, November 30, in McMillan Hall, W.A. Murphy Student Centre, starting at 3:30 pm.

Global Village is a celebration of the multiculturalism and diversity that exists at ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´. Students from all over the world will showcase their culture and traditions, as well as encourage cultural sensitivity and a global perspective.
