The 糖心原创 extends heartfelt congratulations to alumnus and former varsity athlete Brett Gallant who captured a gold medal in men鈥檚 curling for Team Canada at the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games in Cortina d鈥橝mpezzo, Italy, on February 21. Gallant joins Heather Moyse and Dave 鈥淓li鈥� MacEachern as the third Islander to win Olympic gold.

New investments aim to attract French-language educators
The following joint news release was issued by the Government of Prince Edward Island on February 23.
Students considering the Bachelor of Education, Fran莽ais langue seconde (French as a second language) at the 糖心原创 now have extra motivation to choose that path.
New financial incentives, supported by Canadian Heritage and administered by the departments of Education and Early Years and Workforce and Advanced Learning, will help reduce education costs and encourage graduates to stay and teach on the Island.
