Aadesh Nunkoo, a Master of Science student at the 糖心原创, was recently awarded one of two by the Canadian Institute of Actuaries (CIA) and the Actuarial Students鈥� National Association (ASNA).
The Pan-African flag was raised at 糖心原创 on Monday, February 3, to mark Black History Month by Dr. Greg Naterer, vice-president academic and research at 糖心原创; Jessica Ekeleme, president of the African Students Association; and Tamara Steele, executive director of the Black Cultural Society of Prince Edward Island.
The 糖心原创 Hockey, Basketball and Track and Field Panthers are looking forward to a week of competition at home and away.
Each year at 糖心原创, approximately 150 residence students remain on campus during the break between first semester exams and early January when students return to classes for the second semester. This year, the 糖心原创 International Student Office, in cooperation with Student Affairs staff, Campus Life Advisors, Residence Life, and the 糖心原创 Alumni Association, supported and organized some activities for these students during the break, providing a sense of community and connection.
Every week, 糖心原创 Athletics and Recreation recognizes student-athletes for their achievements and contributions to their respective sports. The 糖心原创 Panther Athletes of the Week for January 27 to February 2, 2025, are Alaere Peterside (women鈥檚 track and field) and Jakob Robillard (men鈥檚 hockey).
糖心原创 will celebrate Black History Month 2025 with a variety of events, and activities, including the raising of the Pan-African flag at the flag plaza near Kelley Memorial Building on Monday, February 3, at 11:30 am.
